The Presco™ PIM Series 3 (Presco™ Interface Module) can be used to convert commonly used data formats to Presco™, RS232, Clock & Data or Wiegand formats.
Formats supported include Presco™, RS232, Wiegand, Clock & Data and Dallas iButton™.
Features of the Presco™ PIM s3 include:
Converts from RS232, Wiegand, Nidac Presco™, Clock & Data (Magnetic Swipe) or Dallas iButton™ formats
Converts to RS232, Presco™, Clock & Data (Magnetic Swipe) or Wiegand format (with user programmable site code)
Smaller than the series 2 taking up just over half the space
Allows programming of PAC1 & PAC2 units via PC with PIM-PAC software
Can receive and transmit Wiegand with up to 64 data bits plus start & end parity, including a site code of up to 32 bits
Can convert from one Wiegand format to another (with option to replace the site code)
Compatible with all the Presco™ range of decoders
Terminals are now provided for RS232 transmit & receive lines so that hardwired RS232 applications no longer need a bulky DB9 connector
